Viory has launched the Global South Video News Awards to celebrate journalists whose work has ‘brought untold stories to light’.
The Abu Dhabi-based video news agency is inviting video journalists reporting on the Global South to submit entries by the 30 November deadline.
Winners will be announced during the BRIDGE Summit in Abu Dhabi on 9 December.
A spokesman said the awards will ‘honour journalists whose courage and craft are reshaping how the region is seen, and to celebrate work without which the full story cannot be told.
