The National has launched a new weekly podcast discussing the music scene in the Middle East.
Tarab, hosted by journalist Saeed Saeed and produced by Yasmeen Altaji, will feature conversations ‘with some of the region’s most captivating voices, from genre-defying performers to industry visionaries.’
Doaa Farid, Podcast Lead at The National, said: “The podcast explores the stories, struggles, and inspirations behind the sounds shaping the Middle East today through candid conversations with the region's most compelling artists.”
The first episode features an interview with Lebanese singer and songwriter Yasmine Hamdan.
