Former ITP journalists Paul Clifford and Emilie Hill have set up a strategic communications consultancy in Dubai.
Context Studio will focus on founder-led and purpose-driven brands across the hospitality, wellness, interiors, fashion, beauty, and lifestyle industries.
“We’ve both spent our careers around founders, operators and creative entrepreneurs with exceptional ideas,” said Clifford, was formerly Group Editor of hospitality titles as ITP Media Group. “Often, what they’re missing isn’t a better product or service, it’s the ability to clearly communicate what makes them different. Context Studio exists to help bridge that gap.”
Hill, who was Group Editor of Time Out titles in the GCC at ITP, added: “Today’s audiences and consumers are increasingly discerning about where they place their attention and spend their money. The brands that stand out are those with a clear sense of identity and a story worth telling. Our role is to help founders understand how they should be positioned, what makes them relevant and how to communicate that with confidence.”
Context Studio is already working with brands including Cafe Isan, Rowley's Restaurant and Brass Monkey, with additional projects spanning interiors, lifestyle and founder-led businesses to be announced soon.
