Francesca Washtell has joined Arabian Gulf Business Insight as Energy Editor to lead the site’s coverage of oil, gas, renewables, nuclear energy, petrochemicals and solar.
Formerly Deputy Editor at The Banker magazine and Executive City Editor at the Mail on Sunday, she will initially be based in London before relocating to the UAE in June.
“I’ll primarily be writing about the GCC countries, but looking at the wider region and global news too, as well as overseas investments by Gulf companies,” she said.
