An AI-powered news platform billling itself as 'the future of Arabic media' is set to launch next month.
Lana aims to showcase the best of the Arab world through premium content spanning news, entertainment, sport, business and lifestyle – from hyperlocal to global stories – while leveraging artificial intelligence and data analytics.
The former Editorial Directors of the Arabic and English editions of Arabian Business are leading the launch, with Majd Bahou as Editor in Chief and Matthew Amlot as General Manager.
“While traditional media might still be figuring out if AI is friend or foe, we're jumping on the train that's already left the station – integrating it from day one to deliver content in ways that actually match how people consume media today,” Amlot said.
“The potential here is massive. This isn't just another platform launch – it's reimagining how content can be discovered, consumed and shared in ways that haven't been done before.”
