WIRED Middle East has been relaunched online, with the first bi-annual print edition due to be published next month.
The title, which covers the intersection of technology, science and culture, has been brought ‘inhouse’ by Condé Nast Middle East, having previously been published in the region under licence by Nervora.
Head of Editorial Content, Carla Sertin, said: “Our reporting is not simply about technology, it's about what happens when technology collides with culture, power, business, and everyday life. Every tech story is a human story.
“WIRED Middle East exists to help make sense of our new reality, and to examine what rapid transformation means for those living through it.”
She said the title has built a network of journalists across the region to provide on-the-ground reporting ‘by people who understand what matters in their country today and what will matter tomorrow’.
“My goal is for innovators, technologists, and forward-thinkers to visit WIRED Middle East and leave not just informed, but inspired to solve the world’s biggest challenges; to build something, to question assumptions, and to engage more actively and thoughtfully with the future being created around them."
