Purva Grover has launched a Substack blog and newsletter covering food and restaurant reviews in Dubai.
Once Upon A Table aims to explores the soul of Dubai 'one table at a time' - from home kitchens to hidden cafés and late-night leftovers.
“Does the world need another food blog or influencer? Yes. And no. Yes, because tastes change, cities evolve, and so do we. No, because do we really need another “barter” post for an overfed, over-scrolled audience?,” she said.
“Writing about food is work. Is it always honest? No. Meaningful? Sometimes. Am I ready? Probably not. But I do it anyway. Once Upon A Table In Dubai is where food meets memory—one plate, one story, one city at a time.”
