Regional PR body PRCA MENA has published a study on the adoption and challenges of artificial intelligence in the industry.
The 2025 PRCA MENA AI in PR Report, based on a survey 231 communications professionals across the region, found widespread engagement, with 92% of respondents using AI in some form, with nearly half (46%) actively applying it in their daily work.
Content creation platforms are the most widely used (66%), followed by NLP tools (37%) and AI-driven analytics (36%).
Despite optimism, challenges persist with 39% concerned about the reliability and accuracy of AI-generated outputs, and 37% worried about potential job displacement, particularly in smaller teams.
