Luxury travel magazine Near+Far is being relaunched for 2026 with an added focus on the region’s interiors, design and homeware scene.
The quarterly magazine, which launched from Dubai in Spring 2024, is also being redesigned in a larger, collectable format which is destined to be kept on coffee tables and bookshelves, rather than recycled.
Founder and Editor, Isabella Craddock, said: “This new direction marks an evolution, not a departure. It reflects how we live and travel today in the GCC – between the worlds of design, interiors and hospitality – where taste, aesthetic and experience intersect. Near+Far will continue to celebrate the beauty of travel, but through a more design-conscious, regionally grounded lens.”
She said the reimagined magazine will remain true to its founding spirit – celebrating authentic, soulful and beautiful places – while deepening its connection to the GCC and its growing design identity.
Near, the first section of the magazine, will now focus on the region’s interiors, design and homeware scene – spotlighting inspiring creatives, homegrown brands and beautifully designed spaces across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, but also Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman.
Far, the second section, will continue to take readers on a journey across the world, with immersive storytelling and original photography that bring to life exceptional destinations, hotels and experiences beyond the region.
Distribution will be extended across the GCC, reaching concept stores, first and business class lounges, leading hotels, homeware stores, interior design studios and cultural hangouts – from coffee shops to galleries – aligning the magazine with the region’s most inspiring lifestyle spaces.
“The re-launch marks a return to print as the brand’s central focus, supported by a curated digital ecosystem,” Craddock added. “The website will evolve into a digital version of the magazine, while the Near+Far social channels will champion its distinct aesthetic and GCC-driven community.”
The editorial team is now seeking GCC – primarily UAE and Saudi Arabia – design-led features and photo essays across homes (private residences and standout apartments), public spaces (coffee shops, libraries, museums), local design talent and studios, homeware and craft brands, and concept stores, alongside travel-led pitches.
