A new radio station has launched in the UAE targeting the country’s South Indian expatriate population.
Home 92.2 FM has been introduced by Aaren World Media & Advertising, and broadcasts in the Malayalam language.
"Designed for commuters navigating long traffic hours, 92.2 Home FM serves as a cultural and emotional connection to 'home' in Kerala," a spokesman said. "This station is brought to life by a team of legendary media visionaries, whose years of expertise and wisdom shape every broadcast."
The station replaces Radio Khushi 92.2 FM, which had been the county’s only Telugu and Kannada language radio station, and is now only broadcasting online.
Aaren World Media & Advertising also operates 89.4 Tamil FM.
