There have been a number of changes to key editorial positions at Gulf News.
Mark Thompson has been appointed Editor in Chief of the Dubai-based newspaper and Ashfaq Ahmed promoted to Managing Editor, while acting editor Shyam Krishna has departed.
Long-serving business editor Manoj Nair and sports editor A.K.S. Satish have also both left, with Anupam Varma promoted to News, Business and Online Editor, and Manjusha Radhakrishnan now Entertainment, Lifestyle & Sports Editor.
