FunAsia Radio Network has merged UAE radio stations Beat 97.8 and Luv 107.1 to form Beat 107.1 FM.
Both stations launched in September 2020, with Luv 107.1 playing hit music from the 90s, noughties and current day, while Beat 97.8 focused on dance and house music.
The station’s new line-up sees Lachlan Kitchen and Alana Wallace present Breakfast from 06:00 to 10:00 on weekdays, Reine Abou Rjeily presents Live from 10:00 to 14:00, Gary King presents syndicated show Totally 90’s from 14.00 to 16.00, with Edi Ahmadi and Sheron Nanayakkara presenting The Rhythm Nation from 16:00 to 20:00.
FunAsia also operates Hindi station 106.2 Big FM and talk radio station Talk 100.3.
